前几天，公司都在议论纷纷说着一位同事失踪的事件。我听了也毛骨悚然，怎么会发生这些事儿。今天早上，终于刊登在报纸上。报纸是这么写的：

Wife pleads for husband’s safe return
KUALA LUMPUR: The wife and son of a missing IT consultant are pleading for his safe return.
Ong Lai Lai, 33, said her husband Choo Ching, 36, had gone missing since Monday night after a meeting to discuss a business plan with three friends at Putra Heights, Subang Jaya.
“He contacted me at about 9pm when he was on his way to the meeting and asked me about the well-being of our five-year-old, who was having a fever,” she said, adding that that was the last time she heard from her husband of nine years.
Ong, who was with her son Choo Jun Ting, was speaking to reporters at a press conference organised by MCA Public Services and Complaints Department head Datuk Michael Chong yesterday.
Ong, who is five-months pregnant, said she went to bed at 10.30pm that night and only found out that her husband had not returned at 7.30am the next day.
She then lodged a report at the Taman Tun Dr Ismail police station here at about 1.30pm.
Ong also found out from Citibank that someone had been withdrawing money from her husband’s bank account.
“On Monday and Tuesday, several transactions had been made at the Citibank branch in Ampang and the highest amount withdrawn was RM3,000 while on Wednesday, 4,000 Thai Baht was taken from the account,” she said.
However, she said her husband, who earned more than RM7,000 a month, had no debt problem and had not borrowed any money from Ah Long.
Ong said she would give everything away just to have her husband back.
“Our son and baby cannot afford not to have a father. If (the captor) wants money, I’m willing to cooperate. I just want my husband back.
“Darling, please hold on no matter what, we are waiting for you to come home,” she said.
Jun Ting said he was missing his father and hoped that he could see him again soon.
Choo was wearing a white blue-striped shirt matching with deep colour pants and driving a Toyota Hilux, bearing a registration number of WKK 77 when he went missing.
Chong is expected to meet City CID chief Senior Asst Comm II Ku Chin Wah on the matter today.
