baby 你什么时候出来?

近来频频接到朋友的来电和facebook 留言， 问我生了没。
他们一般的反应都是...
你怎么还在这儿？或
你怎么还没去生孩子？或
为什么不去催生？或
你Baby 好大只 (3.5kg as of last week),别自然生了，直接开刀好了！

其实我也很想快快把baby 生出来。 但有两个原因我想Baby 多忍两天的：
1）我的医生今天到星期三在outstation， 我不大想其他医生接生。所以我又开始天天告诉baby, 让他多忍几天， 等医生回来了才出来。我告诉baby, 在里面好吃好住，我吃什么，他都可以品尝，一旦出来了，baby 只能和奶...

2)baby 本身没给我任何的征兆他想出来。

妈妈，家婆都紧张了。妈妈这几天还天天的陪着我。
看吧， baby 应该快出来了.

自制叉烧

今天烤了我腌制了两天的叉烧。味道很好， 卖相也不错。最高兴的是 Mr Kuan 吃了赞不绝口，问我用什么来腌制，怎么烤... recipe 就不说在这了，因为我煮东西也没有一定成分，都是凭感觉，大概大概的...

Counting Down...待产的妈妈

Baby arrival is a very mysterious thing. Even the Doctor can't tell when the baby is coming out. It will all depends on faith if you plan to have a natural birth. The Expected Due Date (EDD) is just an estimation from the last period you have plus 40 weeks. And mine in on Feb 16, 2011. Baby consider full term and ready see the world when she is 37 weeks (i am at my 39 weeks now). All the vital organs (especially the lungs) are fully developed. Most of the women do not delivery their baby on the EDD. Is either earlier or later. I am like a time bomb now, tick tick tick.... waiting it to explode.... this waiting game mix with different kind of feeling. Excited, anxious, scared....

Crochet Flowers

I have made (crochet) a lot of flowers for my baby girl. Photos shows are the half done products. I will need to turn the flowers into hairband or hair pins for my girl. These ideas were came from Vanessa (my colleague) where she knows i know how to crochet and ask me to teach her to make some. Instead of teaching her, i made for her.
I wanted to make more and also improve on the flowers. But i have to stop for the time being as my hands are stiff and numb most of the time. Blood circulation is getting worse as days go by. This is normal where blood circulation is channel to baby in priority.

我：
我和Baby 说好了，9 号后要她快快出生，趁我肚皮还没出现任何的stretch marks 还是快快出来好。（要baby 9 号后才出生是因为我的医生9 号才开工,预产期是2月16号）。但早出生对你没好处， 平时只有我吵你，baby 出生后，baby 呱呱叫，肯定会把你烦死。

Mr Kuan:
Baby 吵的不只是我，她也会烦你，这样我可会心理比较平衡。

我：
为什么你心里会比较平衡？

Mr Kuan: 因为平时只有你烦我，你现在也被baby 烦了…. （我只能笑着无言）

Banana Cake Again

Last weekend, i have prepared to make a honeycomb cake. Then all of sudden Mr Kuan requested me to make a cake for him to bring it to his friends house as a potluck item. Since he so 捧场 my cake, i definately make one for him. Instead of making a honeycomb cake (no experience in making this cake), i made Banana Cake, the best cake i can baked.

Honestly, the cake not only looks good, it taste very good too :)
I baked one on saturday for Mr Kuan to bring it for his friend. Then baked another one on Sunday for my in law family since i have extra banana at home.
In my banana cake next attempt, i will add some walnuts. Banana Walnut Cake...

Body Shampoo

还记得我刚怀孕时，我买了 Johnson & Johnson 的 Baby body shampoo. 我个人喜欢 baby body shampoo 因为他味道清新，比起其他的沐浴露较滋润。于是我们就有了以下的对话：

Mr Kuan: “这是什么 body shampoo, 为什么怎么擦也擦不出泡沫，不好用！！"
Me: "这是 baby body shampoo 呀！很香，很滋润的."
Mr Kuan: "你要记得，你是有了baby, 而不是你是个baby"
Me: (我只能笑着无言）

过了几天，Mr Kuan 买了自己要用的 body shampoo :)
