Paint Ball, Apr 12, 2009

星期日约了一班朋友， 三五成群的去 Sungai Buloh, Tanamera. 这个星期的活动是Paint Ball. 起初朋友约我时， 我还七上八下不知道该不该去玩。我深怕会被射中，疼死然后伤口迟迟都不复原。但后来还是决定去了。

到了站营时，眼看大部分人武装齐备，战服，抢都自备，觉得这些玩徒玩的超敬业。展营里95%的都是男人，只有我和其余的几个女朋友。看看那些男人，穿上战服后，犹如军人上了身，一举一动都像个军士。顿时间，我联想起我和几个女朋友的身份，我们就像被敌人俘虏的慰安妇。后来想想，我也是个战士，我应该像GI Jane 那样的一个勇敢女战士， 但却深怕会被男战士强奸。后来再想想，这些身份太卑微了，我和几个女朋友貌美如花，我们应该像战营里的女护士， 像Pearl Habour 电影里的那些护士。上战场时, 顿时又觉得自己像花木兰，代父从军…. 哈哈，我想太多了…

第一场战，30， 40 人，分了两组。分别在一条大该300m 的弯路上，队友分成两支，上下坡进攻。我躲在一颗大树后面，还有草丛的掩护，但还是被射中。大腿黑青了。

第二场战，7 人躲在一间木屋里，2 个sniper 在外，其余的人从外进攻。我的队伍，从坡上慢慢的往下进攻，坡又斜，草丛蚊子又多，子弹到处乱飞，满恐怖的。想像下如果是真的打仗，我已经死了一万年了。

第三第四场战…. 我不参与了，在外面，要不被子弹射死， 不然就是被蚊子咬死….就让那些男人去吧。

客家河婆擂茶饭

每一次Brian 从澳洲回来， 我一定要求去他家吃他妈妈煮的客家河婆擂茶饭。Brian妈妈煮的擂茶饭，是我吃到最好吃，外面餐厅卖的真的比不上。今天晚餐，就吃了一顿很满意的擂茶饭。

擂茶饭是客家传统食品。据说早期客家人迁徙时，随身只 能携带少量五谷杂粮果腹，于是发明这种吃法。“擂”不是敲的意思，而是“研磨”。就是用番石榴树枝做成的大木棒，在内壁有着条纹的陶钵里将茶、芝麻、花生等材料磨成膏状。客家人相信木棒的碎屑会在研磨的过程中混进茶里，增添香味。吃的时候，白饭上盖满菜脯（咸菜碎）、炸花生、凉拌芥兰和豇豆、豆腐干等，再用磨好的茶膏沏茶，倒入饭碗里混着吃。 店家端来饭和一碗茶。茶的颜色很浑浊，像日本茶叶粉沏出的颜色，用勺子搅一搅，碗里有很多不明沉淀物。我家人就吃不习惯擂茶饭，卖相b不怎么好看，但我却特喜欢，健康又简单。

Brian 是我在Australia, Melbourne 年大学时认识的好朋友，后来还成为我的
Housemate。 擂茶饭是那是他给我们煮的一道新奇菜肴，从那时开始，我就爱上这道食物。那时读完大学回来大马， 到处都吃不到擂茶饭，没办法，就是不流行，所以没人卖。唯有只能想吃时，盼着Brian 从Melbourne回家，再去他家吃。所以现在就成了一个习俗吧。

Fruitful Raub Durian Trip

Wake up early in the morning and get ourselves ready for a trip to Raub. A durian eating trip to Raub. 7 of us, me, John, Dennis, Pek Kee, Elson and Chee Kee. The durian orchard belongs to Elson’s friend.

It was really fun. Not only we taste the best durian, we get to enjoy the experience of eating durian in the orchard. Mosquitoes non stop eating our blood while we are eating the durian. Kuan Ren lighted a patch of fire, so that the smoke will chase away the mosquitoes. Adrian is our professional durian opener. While I am the professional in eating durian….



After our durian feast, we went to a nearby shop to have some refreshment.
Kuan Ren took us to a famous indian shop for lunch. He claimed that shop has the best roti canai... hmmm.... is delicious, but not the best. The curry is rather delicious though.

“…是但啦…”

“是但”，随便，“求其”，意思差不多一样，就是随随便便，求求其其，是是但但，什么都可以，whatever….
不知从何开始，当别人用这个“是但”字眼时，我的无名火就会自然而然的冒起。总觉得这字眼好敷衍，很不尊重。尤其是当别人带着不耐烦的语气来表达这个字眼… “是但啦”，我更觉得讨厌。如果当天心情还好时，我会告诉对方，我不喜欢别人用这个字眼，而要求对方认真回答； 如果当天心情不好，我会恼羞成怒。

也不知从何开始我对这个字眼很敏感，用这字眼时，别人一般都不会和你有眼神的交流，他们手头上都会忙着一些事，说了“…是但啦…”，一般上对回答的人没什么意义，应为他们根本没听进去，好像是在打发你，敷衍你多于真真的回答你。 也不知从何开始，我会很记得对我用过这个字眼的人。
香港人喜欢用这字眼，听了心里好难过。
家里的小妹特喜欢用这字眼，听了真的想破口大骂。
身边喜欢的人偶尔也喜欢用这字眼， 听了很不高心。

Gua Batu Maloi Cave (Negeri Sembilan) - Mar 28, 2009

Me and a group of friends, total 12 of us went to Gua Batu Maloi Cave (Negeri Sembilan), an caving adventure. This cave, formed beneath the masses of large rocks is one kilometre in length. A clear shallow stream lazily makes its way around the stones and boulders that make up the cave floor. The cave system has a stream that snakes across the stones and boulders of the floor while the chamber itself is fascinating to explore. Big rocks block each other along the “trails” with dim sunlight breaking through in some places, forming a “ray of light” to pierce the darkness.

In the dark cave with lots of bats whizzing past and chilling water running above our body!! We need to squeeze and cram through small gaps and holes, and sometime submerge through holes in the cave to make your way through, making this one of the most fun-filled caving activities available. This is what makes that experience really fun! I really enjoy it!

Ah Mei Concert 张惠妹演唱会| Mar 20, 2009

It was Friday afternoon i got an sms from Calven asking me whether i am interested to watch Ah Mei concert at Bukit Jalil. I was so happy to know that he got a free ticket for me. I tell myself, if Ah Mei concert was in Genting Star Arena, i will definately buy myself a ticket. However, the concert was held at Bukit Jalil Stadium, open space, hot and big. That's why i did not buy any ticket. Without thinking twice, i replied Calven's sms with a happy, delightful YES. Thank You Calven.

I was suppose to meet up with some long lost friends for a get together dinner. I am so sorry that i need to ffk them and join Calven for the concert.

The concert was excellent and is the greatest concert i ever watch. Ah Mei voice was so powerful and it really catch your heart. The concert was self heated and high from the beginning till the end.... GREAT concert....

Uncle Magazine

My sister forwarded an email to me, it was rather funny.
Saying that Japan has this magazine, which is meant for 50-70 years old man. The funny part is, the model for the cover page of the magazine is all old lady.
I am not sure whether this will appeal to that generation of man. but i think no matter how old is a man, they will prefer younger lady right.....

Take a look at the cover page. Not sure how true it is... might need someone staying in Japan to verify. May be 健莉 can help me on this....

猛鬼肥魔

近来的肥魔越来越猛，我也一天比一天的胖。虽然知道很不健康，行动好像没那么灵活，裙子裤子越来越窄，但这些肥魔，几乎完完全全的将我的减肥斗志消灭了。运动量不比以前多，但吃却比以前多许多。怎么办？是我自暴自弃吗？怎么能让肥魔赢呢？它也赢得太容易了。

有人说，减肥是女人的终身事业，想了想也蛮对的。我从中学时就有了所谓的终身事业念头，但就是没真真的成功过。想想下，我得总将我的终身事业发扬光大，战胜肥魔！讲就容易，做还真得蛮难得，美食当前，我又怎能阻挡呢？好像愧对自己了…

Dinner

Last night I had one of a finest Chinese cuisine in Imbi Palace with my mom and 3 of her friends. We start of with sashimi lobster, slice abalone, fresh oyster as appetiser. Lots of delicious main course. I forget to bring my camera, else I will take down all the food I ate. I drink quite a lot, champagne and red wine. I prefer champagne more than red wine.

One of my mother’s friends was a properties company managing director. We were talking about the current economy… tha tha tha…. He asked where I am working and what I am doing. So I introduce my company. What kind of things my company is selling beside the printers and computers. Come to think about it. I am more like a sales person doing sales talking. May be there are opportunities that I can venture into this area sometimes…

I am not drunk, but a bit high after all the champagne and red wine. Ya, still have to drive home….

青苹果 (Green Apple with Honey)

一直以来，都不怎么喜欢吃青苹果，觉得它太酸了。但却喜欢喝苹果加酸梅汁，青苹果加橙加西芹汁，青苹果加李子加柠檬汁…

近来，突发奇想的想吃青苹果，但又怕它酸， 所以自创了青苹果加点蜜糖。把青苹果切的小小块，然后加点蜜糖，蛮好吃的。把苹果切的小小块主要原因是我牙齿吃不下太冷的东西，切小块后，苹果没那么凉，再说小块的苹果比较容易沾上蜜糖，味道更上一层楼。大家不妨试试。

Flood

Today i took 1 hour 40 mins to get home from Damansara to Ampang. Massive jam all the way. I able to take some photos of the river along Jalan Kuching. The water almost over flow during the time i was there. But i heard from the radio, the river over flow earlier. A lot of places, Jalan Ipoh, PWTC, all flooded.

My Birthday - Mystery flowers

Consecutive two years, I received a bouquet of flower for my birthday. Flower that I like. Sometimes, I do said is rather waste of money to by flower, but when I got a bouquet of it, I felt happy. It is like a pride to a girl (or women) to get it.

Consecutive two years, I don’t know who is the sender. Why would the sender want to disclose himself/herself? If he/she sent the flowers, doesn’t he/she think that I should have known either end of the day or in some form or hint who the sender is?

Is it important to find out who the sender? I know I can always call the florist to check. Or I should keep it as it is and let it be a secret? Let me think about it…..

Pretty Lady

Today in the office, someone I don’t really know called me, “Hi, pretty lady!”. I smile to him. The very next thing come into my mind is analysing this statement, is this a compliment?

I am quite sure “pretty” is a compliment. But I am not too sure about “lady”. I notice people no longer said “Hi, pretty girl” instead they said “Hi, pretty lady”. Does it mean I am getting older and I look mature, so I deserve to call as lady instead of girl? I am trying to find the root cause of turning from girl to lady. My dressing? My make up? My hair? Hmmm….. may be I should restyle my hair and straighten it. May be I will look younger after that. Let me think about it.

矛盾

女人就是一种自相矛盾的动物， 想说自己是独一无二，不是一般的女人也不好意思。口口声声说情人节不用庆祝，不用买东西。但眼看别人手里的花，心里总会偷偷的想，如果能有一束花也不错。回过神来，就会告诉提醒自己说，浪费钱，还是简简单单好。正所谓，平凡最浪漫。

Gym

When to gym and join the Step class after work today. I did not finish the whole class. After the fourth track, the class was taking a short break. I felt a second of blackout and my heart pumping extremely fast and felt difficulties in my breathing. I tell myself I have to finish the class, so I continue for another track. After the track, I felt rather unease. So I decide to stop and take a rest.

Don’t understand why it happened. I just stop working out for a month. May be I am tired and a bit hungry before the class. I will try again tomorrow.

驱肥魔

新年新年，除了吃还是吃.. 看来是时候驱肥了...驱肥的第一条件，就是要驱掉我心中的肥魔。这些肥魔，时时刻刻都叫我吃。饿了吃，不饿也吃，想吃就吃，不想吃也吃， 真难搞。好，从明天开始，要努力去gym 了及努力驱肥魔。

同事

上星期公司部门来了个3天2夜的team building在马六甲。第一天晚上，大家去了卡拉ok, 因为人多，我一般都不好意识大展歌喉，就让脸皮较厚的同事唱吧。唱着唱着，走了很多同事， 老板12点左右才来到。

当晚剩下的同事，会看中文的只有我和老板。老板来后，好几个同事都不约而同要我点歌然后插歌。原来那些都是老板爱唱的歌。想想，他们也挺会做人的，不懂中文字，但会牢牢的记着老板爱唱的中文歌,更厉害的是，他们能和老板一起高歌, 佩服佩服….
回想起我帮他们点了什么歌，我真的记不起了。看来我也得多学习一些行走江湖的技术了….

Rewind

I have been dreaming about my past lately. What does it mean? I don’t really know. In fact i can’t recall my dream. It is vaguely emerged in my memory. This prompts me to rewind my memory to the time I am in Beijing. I never regretted I spent almost 3 year working in Beijing. I learnt and experience a lot.

Still remember the time that I worked till 4-5am in Beijing Airport Financial Building. It was snowing heavily outside. Guess the temperature outside should be at least -10C or below. Me and Hannah Wang, sharing an umbrella, hugging each other and walk back to the nearby hotel. A normal 5 minutes walking distance, took us almost 15 minutes or more to walk. The floor and path was covered with thick snow, strong wind and non stop snowing. Tired after a long day and really stress with work that time. I remember, Sandra and Ivan were still working in the building. I always blame myself of not being smart and intelligent enough. I always wish I can be as smart like Sandra so that I can help and lighten my boss burden. Sandra is one of my best friends in Beijing. I miss her and all the people I love there.

台湾之旅 - Dec 27, 2008 - Jan 1, 2009

When to Taiwan this year end. These are some of the food we had in Taiwan.... really enjoy the time in Taiwan... non stop tasting and eating. Did not buy much thing there. May be it is winter in Taiwan, most of it are winter clothing. Anyway, my main objective to Taiwan is to try all the nice food there. I dont mind going there again.

婚姻的疑惑

经来频频的听到身边朋友不愉快的婚姻，甚至闹离婚，其中一个男性朋友正办离婚手续了，他有两个女儿。另外一个女朋友，丈夫搞婚外情，结果被对方的丈夫寻仇，朋友的丈夫被砍伤， 缝了二百多针，我看了他的伤势，心中也阵了阵。
我一直在想，世上到底有没有白头到老的婚姻？白头到来的婚姻能代表完美幸福吗？如果有一个白头到老的婚姻，但天天活在不开心的日子，那又何苦呢？既然如此，何不拿了他的精子，把孩子生下，和孩子相依为命，省得和他过着不开心的日子，不用担心他会搞婚外情，也不用天天量度他过得怎样，少了猜疑心，命也许会长些。
我一直对我以后的生活有着一个简简单单的憧憬，不用大富大贵，我要的是个小康之家，一个会体恤，关心，疼爱我的丈夫，一个肯听我说话，互相扶持， 互相沟通，互相分享大家心历过程的终身伴侣，也许就是这些听起来简简单单的条件，把一切事情搞得复杂化，因为世上更本不会有简简单单的个体。那怎么办？也许，互相了解，体谅，尊重，责任， 扮演着重要角色。
如果我能活多三十年，如果我还写着我自己的“部落个”，我会为我今天对婚姻的疑惑，做个结案呈词。

SkyTrek Advertures - Dec 22, 2008

I heard this SkyTrek Adventures from one of my friend, and read some of the blogger comment on this activities. It sounds fun and exciting. I have started to make booking for this activities one month ago as the reservation is kind of full. Cant wait the day to come....It is like jungle trekking, but this is treking on the sky, tree to tree...
Wake up early in the Sunday morning 7am since the adventures starts 8.30am. 10 people will be joining this adventures. There are total 23 trails in the whole adventures. We took around 2 hours to complete.
i will cut short on all the details. Pictures tell a million words. Try it yourself, this is something you shouldnt missed provided that you are not afraid of height....

汤圆

昨天是一年一度的冬至。每一年的汤圆都是由我一人包办，也不让其他人帮忙，因为我对汤圆有极高的要求。我喜欢小小个的汤圆，中间喜欢夹着一粒"gula melaka" （椰糖），吃的时候，QQ的，带点甜味，椰糖的味道。汤圆的汤底由妈妈负责。一般的姜汤，不同的是他用了椰糖， 所以颜色比较深，味道很好。晚餐时，看到眼前风味的美食，也忘了拍照， 到吃完了晚餐后才记得。所以只拍了汤圆的照片。

“叶问”

我不善于用文字来形容任何东西， 只因自己的文笔不好。
今天下班后，看了“叶问”这部电影。只能用最直接简单的字来形容....
正点！！！
非看不可！！！

跑车

我一向对跑车只会用眼光去欣赏， 从没想过去拥有它， 总觉得跑车太奢华不切实际。
刚刚一人开车回家，因为夜了，路上车不多， 自然而然，车越开越快，一辆一辆的车被我overtake，眼看一辆一辆的车往后跑，而我就飞野施的往前奔驰，心中有一种难以形容的快感。 那时刻，觉得往后跑的车真渺小，而我开的小车(Honda Jazz) 比其他车帅多了。顿时感觉，如果我到能拥有一辆跑车那该多好呀！幻想着自己开着James Bond 里的 Aston Martin.......多漂亮，太型了....
很快就回到家了.......我也很快的从夜里的白日梦醒了.......

Gastric attack

Yesterday night, i felt uncomfortable after dinner. Guess i ate too much or ate something i should not eat. I suspect is the Oyster i ate. I felt like vomit when i think of the Cheese baked Oyster now..... yuksss.....
At night, i ate a gastric pil. But still not feeling well and it get worse late at night. I cant sleep because of the gastric. I keep feeling the pinch of pain. I wake up and wanted to take a pain killer. I felt like suffocated and breath faster. Then i throw out. Feel better after i vomit, but my stomach still pain.
Take a pain killer and try to sleep. Still.... cant sleep the whole night. Then i decided to take on day of.

Poor Odie

Went to Jaya Jusco to buy something just now. When i got home, the first thing my mom told me was, Odie was lost. I was so mad and panic. How can they do nothing knowing that Odie was alone outside. I was so worried and straight away went out to find him. It was 9.30pm. I keep calling Odie Odie... but there was no sign of him.... I was so worried because he cant see. Odie is confirmed blind. I worried that he ran out to the main road. Too many dogs were barking around my housing area when they heard i am calling for Odie. I think i heard Odie's bark among all the dogs barking. No sign of him. I try to stay calm and listen. I stand among the bush and call his name again. Then i heard him crying.... i try to look around. then i saw him, he was in the drain. the drain was rather deep. If i went down, sure i have trouble to climb up. John went down and help me to carry him out.... Odie was too scared and so am i. i was so worried that i will lost him.

I shower him and John help me to blow him dry.... Odie's eye lid was bleeding. i guess he scratch his eyes when he fell into the drain... my poor dog. I warned my family members again to take extra care for him because he is old and he is blind. Dont complain about Odie because he is old. Everyone of us will get old and need people to take care of us.

Ran Away Maid

Early Saturday morning found out that my maid has ran away.... dont know where she has gone. We are still holding her passport. She has been with us for approx 5 months. As of to date, our valueables remain intact. I have made a police report on Sat on the nearest police station.

There are tones of cloths that need to be ironed. So my whole family has started to clean the house as soon as the maid ran away. There are so much that need to be cleaned since everyone of us think the new maid cant really do the job. We doubt her own hygiene.

Starting from today, everyone of us have to wash, hang and iron our own cloths... and need to clean the house ourselves.....This weekend is the first time i iron my cloths since i back from Beijing... hehehe....

Mom's birthday...

Celebrated mom birthday today in The Garden, Canton-i. It was rather crowded in the restaurant, but the food was delicious. I like the Char siew, siu yuk and noodle. It is always my favourite.

This year i think something different for the cake. I bought a jelly cake. Mom like it very much.

Landslide

Early in the morning, friends start calling me and ask whether i am alright. I am still blur and think what have happened to me?

Apparently, the was a massive landslide not far from my house. It happened 3.30am while everyone still in their deep sleep. 14 exclusive banglows were buried, 4 death up to now, many are injured, 2000 residents have been evacuted. There are more than 600 people involved in the search and rescue operations from the military, Civil Defence Department, Special Malaysia Disaster Assistance and Rescue (Smart) team, Fire & Rescue department, Red Crescent, hospitals and the Ampang Jaya Municipal Council. I can hear the siren all day long. Helicopters flying around in the morning. It was rather sad to know this news.

The area i am staying has always been prompt to landslide. Many years ago, my area did receive message to notify for standby for evacuation. My house is at the first row facing the main road (MRR2). I think it is rather safe.

Anyway, i pray for the safe of all people.

非洲鱼

看着我家鱼缸里的非洲鱼， 一天一天的长大， 真的是高兴。 当我告诉其他朋友我家养了一缸的非洲鱼， 他们都会不约而同的大笑。一般人家养的都是各种各样的金鱼，金龙鱼，花罗汉…. 而我养的却是非洲鱼， 20条非洲鱼 ， 至今死了两条。

其实我养非洲鱼是有原因的，事关我家的电费是由我来承担的，每个月当电费单来时， 我都会叮诉家里的每一个人要shen电， 因为我家的电费实在是太太太贵了，每次看到电单时，真的有冲动想把TNB烧掉。看了看我家外面那个中等大小的鱼缸，养了一条不知道是什么鱼的鱼，不能观赏又不能吃，我一直虎视眈眈，想放生那条鱼， 但大嫂说鱼缸不能空着， 风水不好。我想了想，与其养这条没贡献的鱼，孤苦伶仃，不如行下善，把它放生， 养一些有贡献的鱼，所以就选了非洲鱼。非洲鱼生命力强， 不好看，但肉也挺鲜甜的… 预算农历新年就有收获。 看境况估计得多等几个月，可能是生长环境的局限，那些鱼长得比较慢…. 没关系… 我不急….. 嘻嘻嘻….

唏嘘唏嘘

近来特别喜欢谢安琪的歌， 百听不厌。喜帖街，十字架，十七度… 都很好听。其中有一首歌， 钟无艳，其中一句…."...我甘于当副车 也是快乐着唏嘘..."
….。 唏嘘唏嘘，搞了好久，还是不明白这个字的意思， 更不用说怎么运用。

New Position

It has been a while since the last time I updated my blog. I was busy with work lately. Remember I have posted twice in my blog in relation to 公司内部又重组 , 乱世造英雄. After the reorganisation, there has been quite a bit of changes to the company as well as myself. I have come across the opportunity this time where one of the Business Unit GM offers me a position. I accepted the offer. There will be a rather big change in my role and job scope. These changes will translate to more time that I need to spend on my job. I am alright with that since there will be new things that I can learn from.
