Hajime

I was having a fine japanes cuisine in Hajime last Tuesday. The food was really nice and fine. The purpose of the dinner was to celebrate my mom’s birthday. Me, my mom, Lam, Lam’s father (Teddy) were there for the dinner.
We were having this 25 year old Old Malt Cask Whisky. There were only 425 in the world. The alcohol content was up to 50%. I don’t really know how to enjoy it, it is too strong for me. However, it was really great to get the chance to taste such an expensive Whisky.

The one dish that i really like it was the Toro. The toro was so fresh, it melt in my mouth.

Have you seen this kind of birthday cake? We did not eat that since we were too full to eat that sushi cake. The cake was complimentary from the chef. My god sister's husband, Edwin Yau.

There was this dish, dont know what kind of fish, pair with goose liver. And the other one is thin slice dont know what fish. Delicious.....

Wow... This dinner should cost thousands of ringgit.

I love toro... only ate once as they are too expensive. Goose liver some more... never try that before.

Well... mind telling us how much you spent for the dinner? Minus the Whisky though.

If the price is not too forbidding really want to try leh. SK, Dreamer, Grace, Chloe... please consider lah!! Just before CNY or during CNY also can.

The price is reasonable for this restaurant. We spent approx RM700 for 4 person. The most expensive dish is the sashimi. Scallops, toro, sea urchant... all those exotic sashimi la...
Trust me, food is nice and price are reasonable for Jap fine dining.

It is a banglo house behind City Square.

What i normally do, i will talk to Edwin Yau (The Owner, my god sis husband) and let him know what i want to eat and dont eat (i dont eat beef) and he will arrange my menu. You guys can do that too. I dont really like the menu bcos dont have photos... so just let the chef recommend and do the work.
