We stayed in Babura Resort. After checking in and had our breakfast, we take a rest before we jump into the sea. After a light lunch, i did 2 dives. Trying out my new camera casing with a piece of tissue in it. Everything goes well. Not only on the camera casing, i have invested on a regulator and a BCD (Buoyancy Control Device)which cost me almost MYR2K. This consider best buy as it were second hand items.
I tried the camera in second day. It turns out alright. The only problem is the man behind the camera. Most of the underwater photos i took look so blue. The colour just cant stand out. So.... practice practice and practice is the key to success....
This is one of the most relax diving trip. Everything is taken care off. The dive operator gear up for us, move everything into the speed boat. What we need to do is to make sure that our gears is there. It is kind of relax and the service is good.

Nice underwater pics. Sea Slugs are really colorful.
I used an old and cheap underwater camera once to take pics in Maldives... the effect was really bad.
Why no pics of fishes? Are they too hard to be captured while diving? Any sharks you saw?
Did you take Videos with your camera too?
Diving is fun huh... I only tried snorkelling with fin but without life jacket.
I did took some pictures of fishes. U guess it rite, it is rather difficult to take picture with moving objects. So i normally take videos on fishes.
Did not get to see sharks this time. But got turtle and squids. I also saw a very very big 苏眉 fish. A very expensive fish to eat.
So far the best place i went for diving is Sipadan. There are so many exotic fishes. Turtles and sharks are normal to see there. And there are so many different types of Nudi Branch (your Sea slugs).
I targeting to go Thailand next year for diving... : )
Cool!! How about Sea Urchins? you saw any?
When I was in Maldives, I get to snorkell along the Atoll... and saw a lot of those coral eating fishes. They made loud crunching noise when bitting on the corals.
Saw some shark also when I wander out to the edge of the Atoll where the water suddenly deepens... that was breath taking view. They stayed in deep waters while swimming along the edge.
In the sea is really peaceful huh... cut out from the sound of surroundings... very relax while admiring the beauty of nature.
For Thailand, I went snorkelling in Krabi Island. But the water is green and visibility not that clear. While snokelling, I saw many sharks swimming under me. I think those are normal sand sharks which are harless to human... but that also gave me a chill... hehehe. Lucky I was not bleeding that time, or else they might attack me in frenzy.
Which island in Thailand you plan to go?
Have not think of any plan at the moment. Will start planning in the beginning of next year.
Talking about sea urchins, there are plenty of it in Tioman... so have be very careful when i want to land on something to take photos. Have to make sure the place i land is free of sea urchins. or else i will be in deep shit..... it is very painful if you hurt by sea urchins. It will turn a black dot in your skin. Feel like burning.... ooohhh.... i kena once few years ago..
