It has been a while since I weigh myself. I know I have put on weight but don’t know how much I have put on. I can feel myself getting clumsier. Skirts and trousers getting tighter. The heaviest I got was the time I was in Beijing and that is the time the doctor said I am overweigh and I have to lost weight. I might not look overweight in a glance but doctor advise me to maintain my weight at certain level in order to stay healthy. Hence, I take my weigh in Beijing as a benchmark. It is an evil weight that I have to stay away from. All the while, I thought I was still away from the evil weight. Few days ago, I weigh myself in my gym. Shock of my life, I am at my evil weight. It is like a ringing bell to me that it is time to go on diet.
I have a bet with John. He will lose MYR1K, if I can lose 2kg in a month for 2 consecutive months (i.e. 4kg in 2 months). Losing weigh is one of the hardest things I can do. I can’t resist to good food. My mind and eyes are always in a standby mode for food even I don’t feel hungry at all. I eat for the sake of eating and tasting. Furthermore, I like to bake breads at home lately. I will bake my own breads for my family members, white bread, wholemeal bread, red bean buns and cookies.
My sister and sister in law are so keen on the bet offered because it sounds so easy to them. My sister has record of losing 6kg in a month. My sister in law has problem in maintaining her weigh where she kept losing weight after she gave birth. For me, I have problem in maintaining my weight too, as it keep INCREASING.
The good thing is I still maintaining my regular work out in gym. What I need to do is to cut my food in half. No snacking in between meals. This means no more potato chips. I am in love with potato chips lately…. Sigh…. Have to say to bye to them. I am not going to have too drastic change in my diet plan. I will do it gradually this time.
Today is my third day of diet. Yesterday, I had smoked salmon salad for my lunch, a slice of wholemeal crackers in late afternoon. For my dinner, I had a bowl of soup, vegetables and fruits. I start feeling hungry at 10pm. I was so tempted to grab some food to eat. The worse part is my sister in law was having her McDonald cheeseburger as supper, she offered me the burger. I resisted it, and I went to bed directly. By 10.30pm, I am asleep.

my most successful story (many many years ago, manage to cut down more than 6kg in 2 months)..
have a good gym routine, cut down carbs and junk food intake.. but slightly relaxed during weekends so that i could still enjoy food but in less portion..
oooh.. i miss that!! i should now seriously consider practising that again!!
Well, I managed to cut down weight by eating lots of Vegi, (Subway Sandwiches), use up energy.(Walk alot for Work and Shopping). And control junk food.
Actually you are of Blood Type O, you must not cut meat out of your Diet. Eat Lean Meat, Chicken/Turkey breast(leave the Skin alone), White Fish, Green Leafy Vegitable, less Fried Stuff, less Sugar and Salt (unless you drink miso soup), less Fat (Chocolates & Cookies). You can take less Rice though, Blood Type O people tends to get fat from access intake of Carbohydrates.
And restrict your meal time. Any time over 8.00pm should not eat any more.
Start the day with good breakfast: Fruits(Sugar+Fibre) and Eggs or beans(Protein+Vitamin). Fresh Juice(Sugar), milk not recomended for Type O ppl. Toasted Bread (Toasts are better than fresh bread, to burn out excess Carbs and give you some Carbon to aid digestion.)
Lunch, just eat what you like, but less oil/salt/Carbs.
Early Dinner with Lean Meat. Eat something (meat) that will let your stomach work for longer period into the night. If you want to eat fruits, eat it before the dinner starts.
Do not starve your self, or else your body will increase their capacity to absorb all energy and nutirents whenever you eat.
Then, do your normal exercise..
And lastly, psychologicaly suggest to your own self that you are getting slimmer everyday.
Just imagine:
Your body is not absorbing the bad stuff.. only the good ones. And won't abosorb more than you need.
While you work out, your body is burning the access fats away.
And imagine your body being firmer everyday, and don't worry about the weight.

I lost 2kg in one week liao. I guess is not that difficult to lost that weight. Problem is maintaining it. I went to gym 4 times this week.... good enough right.

My strategy is to cut down on carbs. and most importantly, no snacking in between meal (this is always my main problem). I try to drink oat in the morning, but i dont like it. Now i think i will take yogurt with conflakes. Healthy and yummy..... :) For lunch, try to eat more vege. Dinner, soup, vege and fruits..... cheat a bit during weekend. or else i will feel rather blue with no good food in my week.
