人口失踪(续)

Early in the morning, i got the bad news about Choo Ching. These few days, i really keep worrying that the worse might happend to him. I pray for his safe return.
I am really sad when i found out what has happened to him. Why there are such people in the world that do such evil thing? Everyone of us deserve to live safely and happily because we work for it. This kind of syndicate need to be caught and punish immediately...

Here is the news:

Deadly syndicate at large

KUALA LUMPUR: A syndicate is believed to be going around robbing people, killing them and throwing their bodies into rivers.

On Thursday, two bodies were found with their hands tied, in a river in Sungai Buloh, one of them believed to be that of missing IT consultant Choo Ching.

It is learnt that six people have so far been detained in connection with the cases, and that police have found new leads through the arrests and were hunting for more people, including the masterminds involved in the incidents.

Police were also investigating if the two men were murdered by the same syndicate.

Federal CID director Datuk Bakri Zinin, when contacted, confirmed the arrest but declined to comment further.

Meanwhile, on Saturday, Choo Ching's wife went to the Tanjung Karang mortuary in Kuala Selangor to identify one of the bodies fished out from the river, and confirmed the T-shirt, pants and underwear on the body belonged to Choo.

Ong Lai Lai, when met yesterday at a news conference organised by MCA Public Services and Complaints Department head Datuk Michael Chong, said the clothing belonged to her husband, even though she could not identify the semi-decomposed body.

“Since speaking to Datuk Chong and from the information I have gathered from the police, I have prepared myself for the worst,” said Ong, who has a five-year-old son and is five-months pregnant.

Choo was last seen by two of his friends on the night of April 28, when they sat down for a business discussion. They only knew he was missing when they received a call from his wife the next morning.

Since his disappearance, a number of withdrawals have been made from his bank account. It is learnt that he had no debt problem and had not borrowed money form loan sharks.

Chong said police had done a great job so far and expected the cases to be solved soon.

“I suspect the two cases may be linked to the same syndicate/culprits,” he added.

When contacted, Kuala Selangor OCPD Supt Ibrahim Chin confirmed that Choo’s wife had identified the body through the clothing.

Very sad news indeed. 2 years ago, my colleauge also met with the same incident, but different fate. He was kidnapped near Wangsa Maju LRT Station. The captors checked into a Hotel in Port Dickson, and then withdraw his bank account daily until dry.

At last the captors released him without harming him. But your friend was not that lucky. He might have provoked the captors to kill him. These are people just wanted to make money and not to kill people. If we promise not to go after them or provoke them, very high chance they will not kill us.
